Bishop Pearline Horton
Pastor & Founder
Pastor Pearline Horton has been preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spreading God’s love for over 25 years. She is the pastor of Rhema House of Prayer & Deliverance., Pastor Horton
has a bachelor's degree in Professional Studies, Religious studies and theology. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Theology and later on received her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack Colleges: Alliance Graduate School of Counseling.

Bishop Pearline Horton was also married to the late founder and presiding prelate of New International Churches of deliverance, Apostle Jimmie L. Horton. Pastor Horton spent several years working in the apostolic ministry, establishing churches around the country with her late husband and in 2007 she was appointed as the Assistant Overseer of New International churches of Deliverance.
To date, they have established seven churches together throughout New York, Ohio, Tennessee and multiple parts of Mississippi under New International Churches of Deliverance. In 2014, she was officially consecrated as an Apostle, under the New International Churches of
Deliverance Ministry.

On Sept 25, 2021, Bishop Pearline Horton made history as the first African American woman, a Staten Islander, to be made bishop of New International Churches of Deliverance. Pastor Horton’s affirmation included induction into the Purging Fire Deliverance Churches College of Bishops.
Apostle J.L Horton
Late Bishop and Overseer
Following the divine call of God on his life, Bishop J.L. Horton began his ministry at the age of 18, under Gateway Church of God in Christ located in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1982, he was Chosen to serve as the State National Evangelist of Overcoming Church of God in Macon, Georgia. As State Evangelist, Apostle Horton continued his Ministry, and conducted numerous church revivals, which resulted in church plantings.
Apostle Horton was consecrated as Regional Bishop the International Church of God in Christ in Birmingham, Alabama. As a result of faithful service, in the office of Regional Bishop, Apostle Horton was elected to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Bishops for the International Church of God in Christ. Apostle J.L. Horton was a powerful preacher and an experienced Doctor in the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. He studied and earned his bachelor’s degree of Theology, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree in Theology.
Apostle Horton traveled extensively in the United States, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 50 glorious years. Under the anointing of God, Apostle J.L. Horton was responsible for planting over 30 churches throughout his life. This dynamic Man of God ministered in the States of Tennessee, Ohio, multiple parts of Mississippi, mainly Tupelo, Arkansas and New York.
